Evidence of Student Learning - Internal: How will the program measure what I have learned?:

Assignments from courses are collected and reviewed by external evaluators using 3-point rubrics to determine the level of competency for each outcome.

The results from 2008 (n=40) indicated that on average, students demonstrated close to being acceptable or above acceptable proficiency levels on some program level outcomes (with the average scores between 1.83 and 2.69 on the three-point scale, with 1 being unacceptable, 2 being acceptable, and 3 being proficient).

Student seemed weak on critical thinking with the average score being 1.3. Steps have been taken in an effort to improve students critical thinking skills.
