What Will I Learn?
:

A learner in the Master of Business Administration will complete the following outcomes:

  • Possess depth and breadth of key business concepts.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of the ethical and legal implications of conducting business in a global environment.
  • Be recognized by their current employers as excellent employees who contribute to their organizations and are candidates for advancement in their field.
  • Exhibit poise and confidence in verbal and written communication.

Evidence of Student Learning - Internal: How will the program measure what I have learned?:

All learners complete a capstone research project applicable to their major before graduation which is externally evaluated for evidence of competency in meeting the program outcomes.  The evaluator uses rubrics with categories of Distinguished, Proficient, Basic and Below Standard. Scores reflect a compilation of submissions for the academic year 2009/2010.  

                              Of the capstone projects in the Master of Business Administration evaluated for the academic year of 2009/2010, 92% scored Proficient or Distinguished.
