Library Services
The library services an institution offers to online students is another important consideration. Some questions to ask include: Does the online library have an easily accessible and relevant collection of scholarly journals and other online materials, such as newspapers, magazines and other publications and databases, that are relevant to your course of study? Does the program have a dedicated librarian(s) who helps online learners effectively use all of the online library services available to them? Does the institution provide an online tutorial or course on how to develop your information literacy skills and habits?
